September 25, 2017: Conference "Education, Skills, and the Economic Challenges of the Future"

The theme of the workshop is the supply and demand of skills and competences under the conditions of technological
change. How can young people be best prepared for the digital world? What skills and which forms of
education and training will be needed in the economy of the future? How will higher education and vocational
training systems need to adapt? The workshop will bring together researchers from education and labour economics,
but also from related fields such as innovation and international economics as well as from social and
educational sciences.

The workshop will be held on the occasion of the 60th founding anniversary of the IAW.
